Shine a Light: 7 Years Later, SEETO KILLER Still Loose

Holland Seeto’s killer had only one mission – to kill, an informed Police source close to the investigation said.
Mr Seeto was the chief executive officer of Lees Trading Company Limited. Lees Trading is owned by Edmund Lee.
The late Mr Seeto was found dead in his office at the Lees Trading factory in Laucala Beach, Suva.
It was around 6:30am on January 29, 2015. The informed source said Mr Seeto was found in a pool of blood with five stab wounds to his neck.
Police recorded Mr Seeto’s time of death at 7am. It was a brutal and a well-planned murder. The informed source said there were no signs of any attempted robbery or break-in. Nothing was stolen.

The killer was skilled. When the Police forensics team arrived at the crime scene, it was “clean”. There was hardly any evidence to collect.
It’s been seven years. The motivation behind the heartless murder of Mr Seeto remains unsolved. His killer roams free.
The informed source clarified that Police did not carry out a thorough investigation before a suspect was apprehended. Much of their work was driven by pressure from the public and the media.
