Kim’s Donation Brings Smiles To Flood Victims

I feel content when people ask me for help. I cannot refuse those who are in need.
This is what Lautoka based Korean businessman and the president for the Food With Love Mission Fiji group, Paul Kim said when he donated $4000 worth of bags of rice and chicken to flood victims on Thursday.
The flood victims and families in need were at the Vunato Settlement, California Road and residents at the Koroipita Model Town at Naikabula.
“During the Christmas period I received funding from my church, but there had been some delay. I will not stop assisting these people who are in need of help,” he said.
“When people ask me for help I cannot refuse. Sometimes they would call me and I feel so proud and happy that they think about me and turn to me for help.
“Jesus said that if your neighbour is hungry you must help them.”
He said more donations for the communities would be done in the near future.
Vunato Settlement has around 400 residents and headman, Jone Rabici said he was grateful and they were happy with the donation of food.
California Road resident, Salaseini Matawalu said since residing in the area for more than 10 years, the residents have constantly been victims of flood waters.
“With the flood waters affecting us and also COVID-19 I am grateful that Mr Kim came to our aid again for the fourth time,” she said.
