Indiscipline Costly For Nadro

Indiscipline was the downfall of the Nadroga football side as they copped two red cards against Nadi in the Digicel Premier League clash at Churchill Park, Lautoka, yesterday.
The Stallions went down 2-0 while Amani Makoe and Suliano Doli were given their marching orders for unprofessional play.
What happened: Nadi came out strongly as they were determined to put their campaign back on track.
They took the lead in the 36th minute when striker Rahul Krishna slotted in their opening goal.
Halftime: Nadi 1-0 Nadroga,
The All in One Builders sponsored- Nadi side continued on with their attacking game in the second half and extended their lead to 2-0 through Krishna’s second goal.
Comments: Nadi coach Kamal Swamy said: “We played well and followed our game plan.
“We needed to increase the tempo of the game.
“We were lazy when they (Nadroga) were one man down as we gave away possession.
“Maybe, because of the heat but we need to have the mentality to keep on trying hard.
“We need to correct those things and we will be a good team.”
Nadroga coach Mohammed Nadeem said: We started well into the game, the early goal scored by Nadi was the reason why the boys went down.
“The team was coming back into the game but the second red card distracted us and we lost the plot.”
