Pros Win Golf For The Third Time

Fiji’s number one Sam Lee led the professionals to claim their third straight title in the Temo Consulting sponsored Pro versus Amateur Challenge 2022 at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club on Sunday.
The Professional’s won against the Amatuers 13 – 2.
In the two ball best ball category: Sam Lee/Munesh Prasad beat Jainend Prasad/Isei Waqa (4 up).
Other results: Roneel Prakash/Arvind Lal beat Mohammed Rizwan/Abid Hussein (1 up), Inoke Bolakoro/Anasa Seruvatu beat Rohit Chandra/Asish Chand (8 up), Zoheer Ahmad/Waisake Vati beat Kaushal Tappoo/Alvin Sharma (3up), and Tomasi Tuivuna/Bill Sorowale beat Ryan Kumar/Nigel Goundar (6up).
In the singles category, Abid Hussein defeated Roneel Prakash and Nigel Goundar defeated Inoke Bolakoro.
In other single rounds: Amitesh Chandra won over Ryan Kumar (4up), Tomasi Tuivuna won over Mohd Rizwan (4 up), Zoheer Ahmad won over Kaushal Tappoo, Arvind Lal won over Alvin Sharma, Bill Sorowale won over Asish Chand, Sam Lee won over Isei Waqa

Golf Fiji secretary Avinesh Datt said: “We had to put in some upcoming players to gain exposure. We thank Fiji PGA for bringing their best line up; at the end of the day golf wins,” Datt said.
