Mai TV Partners with FMF Foods

A new online Mai TV show sponsored by FMF Foods Limited will start airing from March 16.
My Perfect Bake show promotes Fiji’s Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and local talent.
It was launched at the FMF head office in Suva yesterday, coinciding with International Women’s Day.
Backed by a strong lineup of women contributing to the production, the show adds to Mai TV’s growing locally-produced and innovative content.
It will be hosted by well-known TV host and news presenter, Jacqueline Speight.
Ms Speight, with her witty and energizing character will bring together young, local, aspiring bakers and local pastry chefs who will each feature on the broadcast station’s platform.
A success story she already is, Ms Speight is a single mother and successful personality making waves in Fiji’s social circle.
My Perfect Bake show was the brainchild of Mai TV’s senior television producer, Shanal Sivan, who pitched the idea during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Creating The Show
Mai TV Chief Executive Officer, Reijeli Vulaono thanked the production team for making what is hoped to be a successful first-of-its-kind local content in Fiji.
She acknowledged FMF for enabling generations of Fijians to enjoy its various products from flour and its strong presence in Fiji and the Pacific.
To the women, Ms Vulaono said: “Sometimes we are always thinking that one day something good will happen.”
“But we would like to encourage you today – just look around you and grab the most simple things you have.”
“Don’t look at what you don’t have.”
“Use the little things that you have.”
If it’s just a one kg of flour start with that….believe in yourself.
“Don’t allow your circumstances to define you.”
“You stand up and say to yourself – No I am blessed.”
“I am privileged because I am created to be beautiful and you believe in your heart that you are.”
“Regardless of what people say about you.”
FMF Foods marketing manager Amrita Priyadarshani says the show will tell why FMF is the backbone of Fiji’s food industry.
She said that the reason they partnered with the TV station was the belief in the show itself adding that it was FMF’s biggest investment for a non-sporting event.
