Super rugby fans can now be part of the excitement and first-ever, momentous home game match between the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and Highlanders by purchasing tier-priced tickets from the Fiji Sports Council today.

This supported by Post Fiji’s extensive Fiji-wide network and the Drua management team.

“The Fiji Sports Council is pleased that the partnership between the Drua management team, Post Fiji, and Fiji Sports Council, means Fijian super rugby enthusiasts can now tangibly take ownership of the Drua-Highlanders game happening April 30 at the ANZ Stadium,”

Fiji Sports Council chief executive officer, Litiana Loabuka, said.

“The ANZ Stadium has previously hosted international Super Rugby games.

“But come April 30, a Fijian Super Rugby team will be on the field amidst an already charged home audience, and owning a Drua-Highlanders ticket will be both a keepsake and a pass into Fiji’s super rugby history book,” Loabuka added.

Where to buy tickets

Fans can purchase tickets at any three of the following locations;

  • Fiji Sports Council office located at the FMF Gymnasium in Laucala Bay in Suva,
  • Any of Post Fiji’s 58 Post Shops throughout Fiji, and:
  • Fiji Rugby Union office on Gordon Street in Suva.

A person purchasing a ticket at a Post Fiji outlet must retain his/her receipt, and this receipt may be tendered at the Fiji Sports Council at any time before matchday to claim his/her ticket.

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua chief executive officer, Brian Thorburn, said: “In setting our prices, we’ve made a conscious decision to make tickets available to everyday Fijians.

“I believe the tickets will be in hot demand and I would encourage people to get in early.”
