Bala: Build Community Through A United Sangam

The Then India Sanmarga Ikya (TISI) Sangam Fiji Annual Convention 2022 will be hosted at Churchill Park in Lautoka from April 15 to 18.
TISI Sangam Fiji Interim Chairman and Minister for Employment, Productivity, Industrial Relations, Youth and Sports Parveen Kumar Bala said: “This is a time to come together to grow as a positive and open organisation that contributes to the greater good of our Fijians, towards nation building.
“To move forward we must commit to sending our signals on our goals and aims starting with the forthcoming Annual Convention with the theme – Building Community through a united Sangam.
“Upon the lapse of two years, it will also provide an opportunity for our members and well-wishers to meet with each other and witness the wide range of programmes for the occasion,” Mr Bala said.
He added that Chairman Ajay Kumar and the organising committee had all geared up for the convention with preparations well underway.
He also confirmed that the chief guest at the opening would be the High Commission of India to Fiji PS Karthigeyan.
The convention would feature cultural programmes and a display of art and craft with football, netball and volleyball.
