Drua Take On Waratahs Next

The NSW Waratahs should expect a different Swire Shipping Fijian Drua side in their return Super Rugby Pacific clash at the Cbus Stadium in Gold Coast, Australia, next Friday.
Drua head coach Mick Byrne said they would like to continue from where they had left off against the Waratahs in their Super Rugby opener on February 18.
“We would like to continue from that second half,” Byrne said in Melbourne on Friday night.
The Drua had the upper hand in the last quarter where captain, Nemani Nagusa scored their lone try. The Fijians had two tries disallowed as the Waratahs romped to a 40-10 win.
“We still need to work on our urgency,” Byrne said.
“We need to score points early in the game. Most time we come and wait for the game to unfold before we start playing. It’s like we’re waiting for our nose to get punched then we start to play.”
The wily coach said, this would come as soon as they players gain enough confidence.
He pointed out there are areas of their game they need to work hard on.
“It is things like when to offload or when to hold on to the ball. The players are gaining confidence and they should do well.”
Waratahs are on a high after 10 of their players were named in the 40-member Wallabies squad for the July Test matches.
They are in fourth place of the Super Rugby points table with three wins from five matches.
