The Daniel Krishneel coached Ba football side is cautious with their preparations against Labasa in their Digicel Premier League match at Fiji FA Academy ground, this Sunday.

“Labasa at the moment have not had a win, like a wounded lion they can be unpredictable,” Krishneel said.

“We are cautious as we prepare to face them. It is a crucial match for us as it is on our home turf,” he said.

Following their 2-1 victory against Nadi last week the Men in Black are determined to bag more wins.

“Last week’s match was a special one as we sent off our captain Darold Kakasi. He has completed his two-year contract with us.

“He ended his football career with us on a high note with that win.

“Kakasi has played 13 games and it would be hard to find a replacement.

“We believe in developing players, such that we have a strong youth programme.

Kakasi returned home on Tuesday.

Sunday’s DPL fixtures see three matches staged at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

At 12pm the much-improved Nadroga side under coach Archie Watkins will take on Nasinu while at 2pm hosts Nadi face Suva before the Ba, Labasa showdown at 4pm.

At the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba, Navua take on DPL points table leaders Rewa at 3pm.
