The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will have to do a lot of soul searching before they take on the Brumbies at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, this Saturday.

This was the gist of Drua’s assistant coach, Brad Harris, interview after their disappointing 38-14 loss to the Waratahs on Friday night.

“It was in the first 20 minutes, our ball security was not there and our failure to build-up the game,” Harris said since this has been happening regularly for the Drua..

“We’ve got to ask ourselves questions before the Brumbies game.”

When asked on whether the team’s sudden change of camp in mid-week due to adverse weather conditions could have been a contributing factor to their performance, he said: “Our boys are resilient. Wednesday was our big training day but we were told to pack up and leave.

“There are no excuses. We need to focus on our preparations and we’ve to get better.”

Veteran first five eight, Teti Tela, said he is confident that they would get better as the Super Rugby Pacific competition continues.

“I believe in the boys. It’s about getting that last pass right for us to score a try or when to hold on to the ball.

“It’s about getting those basic mistakes right,” he added.

The match kicks off at 9.45pm.
