Fiji Beat France

Sevens new find Vuiviawa Naduvalo touched down two tries to help Fiji beat France 26-19 in their second pool match of the HSBC Singapore sevens today.
That win has injected hope in the side but they need to beat Japan in their game later tonight to secure a spot in tomorrow’s quarterfinals.

France after thrashing Japan 36-14 in their first match had an electrifying start against Fiji in the first minute to lead 5-0.
Two minutes later Fiji retaliated with a dazzle from experienced Waisea Nacuqu who scored right underneath the posts and he converted his own try – Fiji lead 7-5.
France then scored an easy one to lead 12-7 at half time.
Finally getting their rhythm Naduvalo went in for his second try. Fiji led 14-12.
The next converted try by France pushed them 19-14 ahead but soon after that the yellow card was flashed against them.
With the advantage Fiji squeezed in two tries of which only one was converted to win 26-14.
