Expect a surprise celebrity during the RC Manubhai Fiji Open from April 23-24 at the Fiji Golf Club in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

This was revealed yesterday by RC Manubhai & Co. Pte Limited’s group marketing manager Atish Kumar Singh during the event’s soft launch.

Singh said R.C. Manubhai & Co. Pte Limited has been an avid supporter of sports in the country.

“Our association with the annual R.C. Manubhai Ba Open spans over 50 years and with the same commitment this year we have decided to bring this event to Suva,” he said.

“With our business history and sponsorship in sports, we know there are lot of participants for the event in our first Suva event.”

Singh said they are expecting over 125 local golfers in amateur and professional categories to take part.

“We are giving $20,000 for the event and there will be prizes for professional and amateur golfers as well,” he added.
