Tourism Fiji expects 129,804 visitors between April to July this year.

Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this was estimate because the industry approaches the peak season with many visitors flocking to Fiji for holidays in the coming months.

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum has also revealed that bookings made to Fiji Airways for travels in these months were positive.

“This has led to a great sense of optimism, in particular, with the hotel industry in the tourism sector overall,” he said.
