Rewa Prepare For Farebrother

The Rewa rugby team have set a good platform ahead of their INKK Fiji Rugby Farebrother Trophy challenge against Naitasiri, next week.
Rewa held a strong Nadroga side 28-28 in their Skipper Fiji Rugby Championship clash at the Burebasaga ground, last Saturday.
Speaking to SUNsports Rewa Rugby Union president Ro Macanawai Mataitini said the result is a positive one.
“We played well against a good side like Nadroga and the result is an indication that we can do much better,” Ro Macanawai said.
“Now the next mission is try to remain consistent in the way we play our rugby.
“This game has really boosted the team as they prepare for the next challenge.
“Everyone have a week off this Easter for us there is no break. We see this break as an opportunity to prepare well for the challenge.
“To hold one of the powerhouse teams in the country like Nadroga ahead of our next challenge is huge.”
Nadroga took Naitasiri to the wire during their challenge before going down 29-27.
Ro Macanawai saluted his players for giving their all as they were close to winning against the Stallions.
He added that holders Naitasiri would not be easy to beat especially playing in front of their fans in Naluwai.
“The Highlanders are a very good side with a lot of young players. It will be tough playing against them in Naluwai. We really have to work hard if we are going to stand a chance against them.”
