The two-day event will also serve at the final trials to select Athletics Fiji team to the 2022 Mini Games in Saipan and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

AF administrator Selwyn Williams says they are expecting more athletes to confirm their participation before Friday.

“Pacific sprint king Banuve Tabakaucoro is also participating in the Easter games,” Williams said.

“Some clubs have not registered their athletes, so we are expecting some more athletes,” he said.
