Meet the go-getter, Ratu Boladau Uluitavuki.

He is currently ANZ Fiji’s Senior Relationship manager responsible for clients across a range of sectors from telecommunications, manufacturing and Government.

Next month he heads to Tonga with a new position and a bigger responsibility.

There, the 36-year-old from Tavuki, Kadavu, married with two sons, will head ANZ Tonga’s Commercial Banking.

The contract is for three years.

Mr Uluitavuki holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Tokyo and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland.

His career began at the Reserve Bank of Fiji as an economist for eight years.

He joined ANZ six years ago as its manager Research and Analysis.

Mr Uluitavuki’s executive role outside Fiji adds to the growing pool of Fijian talents spread out across neighbouring Pacific islands and the international community.

“I’m particularly excited by the opportunity to exchange ideas; Fiji and Tonga are both small, open economies in the South Pacific with similar challenges and opportunities,” Mr Uluitavuki said.

“There is a lot we can learn from each other.

“I’m also keen to tap into the wealth of knowledge across ANZ’s global network to enrich the interactions with our clients in Tonga.”
