Vikash Spears Labasa Into Final
Jasnit Vikash scored the lone goal for Labasa in the 1-0 win over Ta varau/Varoka in the semi-final of the 2022 Shree Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha Inter District Championship (IDC) at the Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka yesterday.
Labasa had the services of district reps Anish Khem, Ashnil Raju, Jasnit Vikash and Lami Futsal star Nikhil Chand.
In the other semi-final, Navua edged Tuva 2-1.
In the first exciting quarterfinals, Navua proved too strong for Ulusila 3-0.
In the second quarterfinal the Manjeet Singh coached Tuva overcame Nasinu 5-4 in penalties.
Tavarau/Varoka defeated favourites Cuvu 4-3 to advance into the semis while Labasa beat Valley 2-0.
In the master’s final Alvin Avinesh’s Nadroga side edged Navua 1-0.
Navua had trounced Valley 3-0 in the semi-final while Nadroga edged Nasinu 1-0.
