Member of Parliament Joseph Nand has replaced Archie Watkins as head coach for Nadroga.

Interestingly despite the results, there have been continual reshuffles for Nadroga; coaches have been consistently changed after three games.

Nadroga take on undefeated Suva in round eight of the Digicel Premier League at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Sunday, 4pm.

Nadroga is in fifth spot with nine points from seven games.

On the other hand, Suva remains undefeated and has 20 points from eight games.

“It’s a hard task, Suva is an inform-team but not impossible,” said Nand after he was confirmed for the role by Nadroga FA on Tuesday.

“Only three days of preparation under me, it will take some time for the boys to adapt to my coaching style,” Nand said who took Nadi to claim the 2016 Fiji FACT title.

Ex-teacher Nand began with the Stallions in the 2003 – 2006 seasons.

Work transfer disrupted his involvement with Nadroga. He returned in 2008, 2010 and 2012.

In 2013 Nand led Nadroga to reach the Battle of the Giants (BOG) semi-final and the 2014 Inter-district Championship semi-final.

In 2018 the side Nadroga lost the senior division final.
