The coached Nadi are determined to retain their spot in the Skipper Cup listing when they face Tailevu in Round Five at Prince Charles Park, in Nadi on Saturday.

Nadi Rugby secretary Jeff Tamata said they aim to get bonus points to secure their standing.

“We need to get the maximum points from these three home games to be in a solid position on the points table going into round two of the Skipper Cup 2022,” Tamata said.

“The team will perform with the backing of the fans. It is important that the O Nadi Ko supporters be there in numbers this Saturday,” he said.

Nadi are in second spot with 14 points from three wins in four matches, behind leaders Naitasiri who remain undefeated with 18 points.

Nadi is relying on regulars Semesa Muaidonu, Jolame Vulavou, Ron Katonivere, Vilikesa Driu and captain Turuva Lumelume to deliver against Tailevu.

Other matches this weekend see Nadroga hosting Northland at Lawaqa Park in c and Namosi facing Suva at Thomson Park in Navua.

Rewa challenges the INNK trophy holders Naitasiri in the double header at the Naluwai ground.

All matches kick off at 3pm.
