Renowned New Zealand radio host on More FM’s drive show, ‘Jay-Jay and Flynny Driving You Home’, Jay-Jay Feeney says Fiji is paradise for her.

Ms Feeney and her partner, Hoani Molnar, were fortunate to be among the second group of guests at Seventh Heaven Fiji to enjoy the facilities on the newly-opened pontoon.

Speaking to the Fiji Sun, Ms Feeney said she fell in love with Fiji since she first visited the island in 1999.

She has been a radio host for more than 20 years.

Ms Feeney who flew back with her partner to Auckland yesterday was in Fiji for a holiday for five days.

She came to know about Seventh Heaven Fiji through Instagram and immediately fell in love with the place.

“I love coming to Fiji, I have probably been here quite a few times because I love travelling but Fiji is good because it is close to NZ so it’s good for shorter trips and if you just feel like relaxing because even though there is a lot to do.”

‘I always feel so much more relaxed,” she said.

“As soon as you step off the plane there is just something about the atmosphere and I just feel like I’m in paradise.

“I work on the radio in NZ but I have been for work trips here before where we broadcast from Fiji.”

She added that being at Seventh Heaven Fiji felt welcoming.

“I came to know about Seventh Heaven because a couple of people mentioned it to me and then I looked it up on Instagram and I thought ‘wow that looks amazing’,” she added.

“We came in and we had a cool welcome by the Fijians singing a song and it just puts you in a good mood and you can already feel the vibes of the place.”

On her Instagram page, which has more 78,000 followers, Ms Feeney said: “Gorgeous day to spend on@seventhheavenfiji…The staff are so lovely and fun, the ocean is buoyant and warm, the atmosphere is absolute paradise.”
