PM: Chiefs Will Play Here In May

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s second home game is set for May 27 at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
Prime Minister and Fiji Rugby Union president, Voreqe Bainimarama, confirmed yesterday that the Drua would play the Chiefs.
In a New Zealand newspaper article, Chiefs No.8 Pita Gus Sowakula hinted that he was hopeful of coming home to play against his Fijian Drua brothers.
In another interesting twist, former Queensland Reds winger, Ilaisa Droasese, was spotted yesterday training with the Fijian Drua at the Vodafone Arena.
Last night, a Fijian Drua released confirmed that Droasese was now part of the team. The former Fijian Under-20 speedster has joined them, since his contract with the Reds expired. It is possible that he could get a start against the Highlanders at the ANZ Stadium, Suva, this Saturday.
Meanwhile, Drua lock forward Chris Minimbi said if he was selected it would be a privilege to play in front of their Fijian fans.
Minimbi had his first start against the Blues and played well with his locking partner, Viliame Rarasea.
“As we keep playing and fighting for each other we’ll get the result. We got a lot of positives out of the game against Blues,” he told SUNsports.
The Highlanders arrived at the Nadi International Airport last night.
