Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has urged people of the Nadroga-Navosa Province to work with the Government.

He made these comments during the Nadroga-Navosa Provincial Council Meeting at Nasigatoka Village yesterday.

“I hear there is a new political party in your province which is the We Unite Fiji (WUF). You must know that three political figures are part of your province,” he said.

“One of them is the leader of WUF. WUF was formerly known as Western United Front which stood to separate your province from the rest of Fiji. This was the reason your province was excluded from government developments.

“I hope you understand this. Today, it’s different. That would never happen because my Government would never let that happen. You have all been served equally.

“We will be victorious if we work together. I hope that you will elect those that encourage unity over those that bring separation among people.

“Those who bring people together and stability which has not happened in Fiji in a very long time. I am confident to say that this Government has made Fiji better. The evidence is in what we have done for this country.”
