Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori will tomorrow reopen for games, including spectators.

Nasinu and Nausori Town Council chief executive officer Anurashika Bari said the council funded and repaired Pavilion A at the cost of $200,000.

Ms Bari said they had been given the green light to re-open for games with spectators at Pavilion A, which could only accommodate 4000 people.

She said the Council managed to secure funding from the Fijian Government to start fencing Pavilion B, but they needed additional funding to complete all the work.

Once Pavilion B was fixed, they would be able to host major tournaments.

Meanwhile, Ms Bari said they formed a naming rights partnership through a tender process, with a subsidiary company of FoodCity known as Red Leaf Pte Limited.

Red Leaf Pte Limited now had exclusive naming rights for three years which was effective from April 2022.
