We Unite Fiji Party is expected to reveal its first batch of provisional candidates for the 2022 General Election in coming weeks.

Party general secretary, Milinia Vaqa confirmed that they were working on the candidates list.

“At the moment we have not selected our candidates and we are working towards it,” she said.

Furthermore, Ms Vaqa has confirmed that a party campaign has begun in the province.

“We have started campaigning around the areas of Nadroga-Navosa. We are yet to extend our campaign around the western division as well as around Fiji,” she said.

The party office is head-quartered at the Sunflower Hill Villa in Mataqe, the home of the general secretary.

The Fiji Sun has been reliably informed that a few former SODELPA stalwarts have jumped ship to the We Unite Fiji Party. These stalwarts are SODELPA Nadroga Navosa constituency president Ratu Jolame Vosailagi, Nadroga constituency secretary Nemani Tokula, Navosa executive Vuki Mawalu and SODELPA management board rep Ratu Mosese Volavola.
