Blues On Song For Fiji Fact

The Lautoka football team walloped Safe Logistics Nadroga side 5-1 in their Digicel Premier League clash at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, yesterday.
The big win has boosted Lautoka’s preparations for this Sunday’s first round of the Digicel Fiji FACT tournament.
What happened: Lautoka probably scored the fastest goal of the DPL with Sitiveni Cavuilagi scoring the goal in 20 seconds. This caught the Nadroga fans by surprise as Lautoka piled on the pressure.
They extended their lead in the 35th minute from a Sairusi Nalaubu strike.
Halftime: Nadroga 0-2 Lautoka
In the 77th minute Nadroga had a penalty but Amani Makoe’s attempt hit the uprights.
That frustrated the Nadroga players, Lautoka went on attack.
The floodgates opened in the 86th minute when Gulam Razool made it 3-0.
Then in the 88th minute Aporosa Yada slotted in Lautoka’s fourth goal before Nalaubu made it 5-0 in the 92nd minute.
Against the run of play Lautoka scored an own goal, which was a consolation for the Nadroga side.
Comment: Lautoka coach Angnesh Prasad said: “This win has set the platform for the Fiji FACT.
“Also we are getting back in defending our DPL title and the message is clear to the boys. We will go back and prepare for the Fiji FACT.”
