Hundreds of people passed through the GOLD FM ROC Market in Suva yesterday.

With over 90 vendors, keen and curious browsers were spoilt for choice over a variety of menu, and an array of art and craft that were on sale.

Organisers of the event, GOLD FM, said vendors travelled from around the mainland and Levuka.

“Many of them are willing to travel from afar to be part of the market day because they claim they make extra money here, that there is always that extra profit, and sell out especially for food vendors,” a spokesperson for Gold FM said.

“You won’t find the same menu all over the place – there is variety.”

The small yet eclectic market is a great way to spend Sunday morning, as friends often bump into each other along the busty pavements around the stalls, while others catch up for a bite.

The Gold FM Market Day is held every third Sunday of the month, along Carnavon, Loftus and Gladstone streets.
