One win in the bag, time to reset and focus on Lautoka, says 4R Electrical Labasa head coach Ravneel Pratap.

He made the comments after the Babasiga Lions started their Digicel Fiji FACT campaign with a 2-1 win over Glamada Investments Rewa.

Speaking to SUNsports, Pratap said his players have to stay consistent.

“I’ve reminded the boys after the win to put their feet on the ground,” Pratap said.

“The win is now history, we have to start working hard against Lautoka,” he said.

“Our performance has to be consistent if we are to proceed further.”

“We know that after this one, a lot of teams will be gunning to beat us so we have to prepare well.”

“Hats off to the boys for a good performance but there are lots of things that we really need to work on.”

Pratap added that his side would be working on certain areas exploited by the Rewa side during their match.

“We lost a bit of momentum when we switched off,” he said.

“When that happened we allowed Rewa to score a goal.”

“This week we will have to work on our focus both on defence and attack.”

“We also have to brush up on our finishing.”

“Our forwards had a lot of chances but we failed to score.”

“Our focus has to be top notche against Lautoka.”

Pratap spoke highly about veteran striker Christopher Wasasala who is now finding his old form.

“Wasasala has sacrificed a lot, he left his family here for the past two weeks and trained with the team,” he said.

“He’s a great and experienced player.”

“He showed class.”

“We hope he stays consistent and he will do great things in this tournament.”

“As a head coach, me and my coaching staff we trust Chris and his capabilities.”
