Why Paradise Beverages Is Backing Sports? Rodan Tells

Tomasi Tuivuna took out the 2022 Bounty Rum Co of Fiji Pro-Am with a single shot over Roneel Prakash at the Denarau green last Saturday.
The Suva based- professional shot two under par, 142 (71, 71); he picked up $1200 for his win.
Lautoka school teacher Roneel Prakash was $900 richer when he finished in second spot, one over (143).
Anasa Seruvatu and Waisake Vati equalled in third spot.
In the amateur division, Nadi businessman Abid Hussain again took the course by storm with a score of 149 winning the overall gross.
Biren Kumar shot an overall net 139.
This year marks the 22nd years of Paradise Beverages in sponsoring the golf event. The two-day event, 36-hole stroke play, attracted a record total of 108 players.
Paradise Beverages General Manager, Sales and Corporate Affairs Joseph Rodan said: “Sponsoring this tournament not only it’s helping golf, it’s also helping the development of sports and also helping the economy of Fiji.
“We can also portray to the overseas countries that Fiji is back to normalcy and by doing that, you know, we will attract a lot of tourists to Fiji.
“It also proves the point that Fiji is COVID free,” he said.
“We need more tourists coming to Fiji because the more tourists coming over guarantee more money.
“This will come in the livelihood of Fijians.”
