The Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team is hopeful of a back-to-back win in the 2021/22 HSBC World Sevens Series.
The Fijians last weekend won the France Sevens tournament in Toulouse and are now focused on winning the London Sevens. It gets underway tonight.
“We are really looking forward to playing here in London and hopefully we can back up our performance from last weekend,” said
Fijian 7s captain Tevita Daugunu.
Head coach Ben Gollings said they were closely monitoring the injury of France-based forward Sevuloni Mocenacagi before deciding on whether he takes to the field.
On standby is forward Jerry Matana, who according to Gollings, is hungry to play for his country.
