The Ministry of Local Government has been working closely with the Nadi Town Council and stakeholders to promote Nadi as a destination for businesses, residential and recreation apart from being established as a tourism hub of the pacific.

‘Nadi To Be Promoted As A Destination For Businesses’
The Minister for Education and Local government Premila Kumar and the Physiotherapy Clinic at the Aerotown Complex in Namaka, Nadi.

The Ministry of Local Government has been working closely with the Nadi Town Council and stakeholders to promote Nadi as a destination for businesses, residential and recreation apart from being established as a tourism hub of the pacific.

This was mentioned by the Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts and Local Government, Premila Kumar after she officiated the opening of the second branch of the Physiotherapy Clinic at the Aerotown Complex, Namaka in Nadi on Saturday.

 

The Minister said the town council continues to receive development applications.

“The town council continues to receive development applications. We can see the notable level of construction in Nadi Town.”

She added that the opening of the Physiotherapy Clinic shows business confidence in the Nadi economy.

“It reflects an entrepreneur’s willingness to be part of a growing economy and contribute to the local economic development.”

“Such investment has a reticulation effect.”

 

“From a consumer’s perspective it means a service choice in close proximity,” Ms Kumar added.

The clinic is directed by the Physiotherapist Usha Krishna-Gfeller.

The first clinic is located in Suva and altogether the two clinics have eight staff.

It opens from 8 am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and on Saturday, it opens from 8am to 1pm.
