RC Manubhai Ba football team blew away a 2-0 lead to allow the 4R Electrical Labasa side to run away with a 4-3 win in the first semifinal of the Digicel Fiji FACT at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, this afternoon.

Ba took the lead in the 8th minute from a Narend Rao strike. And while struggling to settle down, Ba extended their lead from a Saula Waqa volley that beat Labasa goalkeeper Atu Naucukidi.

The Babasiga Lions quickly settled down and struck in the 18th minute from a Siotame Kubu goal to leave the halftime scores at 2-1.

Ba players went to sleep at the resumption of play and Labasa began to pile on the pressure.

The Lions equalised in the 61st minute through a Christopher Wasasala goal.

In the 68th minute, Wasasala scored his second goal as Labasa led 3-2 for the first time. Veteran defender turned striker Taniela Waqa made it 4-2 in the 74th minute.

Ba came back strongly with Kini Madigi scoring in the 92nd minute but it was too late.
