Lumelume: We Came To Win, Suva Next

Jack’s Nadi is the new INKK Fiji Rugby Farebrother Trophy holders after defeating DXC Naitasiri 14-12 at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, this afternoon.
An emotional Nadi captain Sivaniolo Lumelume said his boys prepared well for the battle.
“I want to thank the boys for their hard work and it paid off,” he said.
“The plan was to come and take the Farebrother and we did just that.
“I want to dedicate the win to our sponsors and fans who came out in numbers.
“Now we will have to prepare for Suva next week.”
What happened: Nadi registered the first point of the half with a penalty kick to Viliame Vibote to take a 3-0 lead.
The visitors increased their lead with a try to Solomoni Tavai to lead 8-0.
Naitasiri score their first try through hooker Jone Naqiri early in the second half to narrow the deficit 8-5.
The Highlanders increased their lead with a Kini Douglas try and Etonia Rokotuisawa conversion from a 12-8 lead.
Tevita Mociu kicked over a penalty to close the gap 12-11 halfway into the second half before he kicked over another penalty for the win.
