Swire Shipping Fijian Drua loose forward, Joseva Tamani, was traditionally welcomed by the people of Vagadaci in Ovalau, on Friday.
Tamani, was one of the finds of the Super Rugby Pacific competition. He played for Melbourne Rising and was included in the Melbourne Rebels squad.
Tamani also was named in the Waratahs extended squad but did not play Super Rugby because of injury.
He returned home and played for Ovalau in the Vodafone Vanua Championship. He got the call to join the Drua where made his Super Rugby debut.
The hallmarks of his play were his offloads and the 70-metre dash to score a try against the Queensland Reds.
