‘Kulukulu Dunes & Volivoli By The Sea’

A honey farmer, who was awarded Fijian Made certification status for his product, has been encouraged to diversify his operations.
Abdul Hussein, 33, is the proud owner of Nahl Pure Honey – a homegrown operation in Rakiraki that stemmed out of his sheer craving for honey.
“My aim is to expand our honey-making operations for the international market, and identify another source of income in the agriculture sector,” he said.
“It is a bit of a challenge – coming out of COVID-19 – to identify the ideal market we could tap into.
“I’d like to get into some sort of farming that is different from honey farming.”
Mr Hussein is a university graduate in accounting and information systems.
