Coca-Cola Games defending girls champions, Adi Cakobau School, is having discussion whether to join another zone to continue its preparation for the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics finals.

This was after the Triple N Zone was cancelled due to the delay in the confirmation of the Coca- Cola Games date, as confirmed by zone delegate Alivereti Tawake last week.

However, Fiji Secondary Schools Association general secretary Vuli Waqa said yesterday that ACS is likely to join the Tailevu Zone.

“I just heard they wanted to go to the Tailevu zone to give them a run,” Waqa said.

“Not that they are moving to Tailevu, they just need a run because the Triple N is not having a zone of its own.”

ACS principal, Bharti Singh did not wish to comment and directed all questions to their coach Antonio Raboiliku, regarding their discussions.

Raboiliku is currently in Australia with FMF Athletics Team Fiji for the Oceania Championship. He has not replied to the email that was sent to him when this edition went to press.

Suva Zone Two delegate Apete Luvu said: “If they (ACS) approach us then we have to discuss with the committee, but right now we don’t have any message from them.”
