Sera Domoqi will now be able to build a house for her family after she won $10,000.

Ms Domoqi was the lucky winner of the joint promotion between Shop N Save Supermarket and Rooster Chicken.

The 28-year-old hails from Naseyani Village in Ra.

Ms Domoqi said she thought it was a prank call when she was told that she was the winner of the $10,000.

“I always do my shopping at Shop N Save in Lami and one day the boss told me that there was a promotion when he saw me buying rooster chicken,” she said.

“Every Saturday after that I would drop my entry in the box provided.”

“I was not expecting to win but I thought to try and see what happens.”

“Now that I have won, I am grateful that I took part in the promotion.”

“It still feels unreal but I am thankful to Shop N Save and Rooster Chicken for this promotion.”

“The last time, I won a $250 shopping voucher from Shop N Save, but this one takes the cake.”

Ms Domoqi is thankful that such promotions are available to help Fijians.

“We currently live with my mother- in-law, but now I can build a house for my family,” the mother of one said.

“When we came today we had with us the quotation for our house materials.”

“I will make sure that the $10,000 I have received will be used wisely.”

“I always shop at Shop N Save because it is clean, they have varieties I can choose from and they have friendly staff who are always ready to help their customers.”
