Rising 7s Star Signs For French Club

Rising Fiji Airways Fijian 7s rover, Kaminieli Rasaku, has signed with newly promoted Top 14 club Bayonne. This was revealed after the club unveiled its list of players to join them for the 2022/2023 season.
Rasaku, had been the find of the current Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team after sterling performances during the HSBC World Sevens Series where they won the Singapore and France tournaments.
Also, playing for the club is Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games gold medallist, Sireli Maqala. Rasaku is to replace former New Zealand 7s winger Joe Ravouvou.
Also, Maqala’s Olympic Games team-mate Asaeli Tuivuaka is leaving Italian club Zebre.
He along with Flying Fijians hooker Peniami Narisia and backrow Kitione Kamikamica are joining Racing 92.
They will play alongside Ben Volavola and Virimi Vakatawa.
Veteran Flying Fijians centre Waisea Nayacalevu is leaving Stade Francais for Toulon. He joins winger Jiuta Wainiqolo. Still with Toulon, veteran lock Leone Nakarawa and Petero Tuwai are leaving the club.
Leaving Brive for ProD2 club Montauban is second five eight Seva Galala along with Josua Vici who is released on loan. Kavekini Tabu is out of La Rochelle as he joins Bourg-en- Bresse
