Nadi Rugby Union Secures Lucrative Deal
INKK Fiji Rugby Farebrother Trophy holders Jack’s Nadi has secured a sponsorship deal valued at $100,000 for this season.
The deal was sealed in Nadi yesterday between sponsors All in One Group of Companies director Sulendra Raju, and Nadi Rugby Union president, Mataiasi Nabau.
Raju, who was brought up in Nawaka, has also sponsored the Nadi Football Association and its Local League competition.
“I’m very passionate about Nadi and likewise all its sporting teams,” he said.
“I believe that sports bring the people together, and we are here to share the spirit of winning and sportsmanship.”
Nabau said they were thankful to Raju and his family for their support.
Nadi rugby received $10,000 last week as they edged Ram Sami Suva 25-24 in a thriller.
Nadi travel to Gatward Park in Korovou on Saturday to face Northland at 3pm.
