Melbourne Storm and reigning Dally M Centre of the Year Justin Olam to play against the Vodafone Fijian Bati, next Saturday in the Pacific Test 2022.

The Vodafone Fijian Bati is in for a tough Test match against the Papua New Guinea Kumuls in Campbelltown on Saturday, June 25.

This was after Kumuls head coach Stanley Tepend named South Sydney Rabbitohs all-time leading try scorer Alex Johnstone, reigning Dally M Centre of the Year Justin Olam of Melbourne Storm, Brisbane Broncos’ David Mean and Sydney Rooster half Lachlan Lam in the 25-member squad.

Six players from the PNG Hunters in the Hostplus Cup like Terry Wapi, Wartovo Puara, Sherwin Tanabi, and Sylvester Namo have also been named in the squad.

Tepend said the squad go into camp next Tuesday in Campbelltown.

“Once we get into camp we’ll have a light run on Tuesday,” he told PNG Loop.

”Wednesday, will be out big day with two training sessions. We’ve a day off on Thursday and captain’s run on Friday.”

The Kumuls will face Fiji as the second match in next Saturday’s double-header at Campbelltown Sports Stadium at 9.50pm (Fiji time) with Samoa taking on the Cook Islands from 7:40pm.
