Rabuka Certain Of Provisional Candidates

The Peoples Alliance leader, Sitiveni Rabuka has confidence in the capability of Nadi provisional candidates who will contest the 2022 General Election.
He said this during the party’s rally and introduction of Nadi provisional candidates to supporters and the general public at the Nair Dais in Nadi on Saturday
The Nadi candidates present were deputy party leader Manoa Kamikamica, Jessica Naevo, Mereseini Gaunavou, Baleilevuka, Cecil Browne, Siromi Turaga and Lavenia Kaumaitotoya
“I’m here tonight to say that I’m not doing it alone, I’m doing this with a team, tonight three women will be introduced to you, some of them are leaders in the movement that I’m honoured to be leading at this time, I have confidence in them,” Mr Rabuka said.
“Together we hope and pray that we will have enough in us in what we show, in what we say to win the confidence of the people.”
He said he heard the concerns of tourism sector workers in Nadi earlier yesterday who suddenly lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Somebody has to endure listening to these stories of hardship and work out a way where we can make things better for our children, our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
That is why I’m still running for election.”
He said the support received from members of the public motivated the party to endure the criticisms it received.
“Thank you for bearing your souls with your stories, it makes what we’re doing worthwhile,” he said.
