Let’s Go Local: Mana Island For The Marriott Resort Chef

Marriott Resort Momi Bay Chef de Partie Mufeed Ali was inspired by his father to become a chef.
“My father was a great chef.”
“He used to work at Shangri-La and I was his big fan,” Mr Ali said.
Mr Ali had worked in various eateries in the culinary industry for a decade now.
Originally from Kulukulu, Sigatoka, Mr Ali attended Kulukulu Public School before he joined Cuvu College.
He completed his cookery studies at the Fiji National University.
He rejoined Marriott International property in December last year.
Mr Ali and his team worked on introducing complete Mediterranean cuisine at Lagoon House on Marriott Momi Bay Resort in April this year.
