The Tongan and Samoan rugby teams have arrived into the country and started their training in Nadi yesterday.
This was confirmed by Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor.
“They will be moving to Suva on Sunday,” he said.
The Tongans trained in Nadi with former All Blacks centre Malakai Fekitoa leading the charge.
The World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup kicks off at the ANZ Stadium in Suva on July 2. The Flying Fijians take on Tonga at 3.30pm while Samoa face Australia A at 1pm.
Meanwhile, Vodafone Fiji will make an announcement today for their support for the Flying Fijians in the PNC. The Vern Cotter coached-Flying Fijians is also camping at Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi.
