Despite the change of venue in the eleventh hour, did not deter the Labasa football team registering a win in the Digicel Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba, on Saturday night.

The Babasiga Lions came from behind to beat Nasinu 2-1.

Nasinu took the lead in the 35th minute from a Clarence Hussein goal. They led 1-0 at halftime.

Labasa came out strongly in the second half and veteran defender turned striker Taniela Waqa scored the equaliser in the 72nd minute.

Sensing a win was within their grasp Labasa piled on the pressure and was rewarded with a penalty in the 83rd minute. Striker Christopher Wasasala made no mistake with his attempt.
