Naidu Hints Early End For Singh

Gutsy boxer Ronald Naidu is poised to knock out his opponent, Nathan Singh, in the Fijian Lightweight title fight in the coming fortnight.
He said he has been preparing well for the 10×3 minute bout fixture under the Bula Boxing Promotions, which will take place at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park on July 9.
“It sounds like a rematch but I am ready and this time will be a different story. This bout won’t go to 10th round; I am predicting an early knockout,” Naidu said.
Naidu, 31, since his pro debut in 2011, has recorded 21 bouts with 11 wins (5 KO’s), seven losses and three draws.
Naidu had defeated Singh on points in March last year.
Singh, since he turned pro in 2019, has four bouts under his belt, with three wins and one loss.
Events director and promoter, Alan Kumar, said: “This fight is dubbed the fight of the year.”
Sponsors for the event include: Nivia, Sportsworld, Blue Mango Fiji, Bula Events Group, Propmate Realty, BBP, VanMeds Labs, Nair Transport Co Pte Limited
