Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor yesterday said the decision regarding Yasawas’s alleged fielding two unregistered players against Bua in their Vanua Cup semi-final match at Subrail Park last Saturday will be released tomorrow (today).
“FRU is looking into the complaint and should be putting out its decision today,” O’Connor said.
Bua had written to FRU alleging that Yasawa had fielded two unregistered players.
Yasawa had tipped Bua in a close match 21-20 while Macuata beat Ba 19-14.
Yesterday stakeholders have posted on their social media platforms that Yasawa and Macuata would be meeting for the Vanua Cup final at Lawaqa this Saturday.
