Even with a busy working life, having passion for something that gives birth to a good engagement of relief during your lowest years is a must.

For today’s Car Syndicate series, we will feature Ashaf Khan.

Ashaf Khan, who is also the Director of Unique Paints & Hardware PTE Ltd and Unique Rent a Car shares a different type of passion when it comes to cars, having to grow up with the constant illustration of cars, and cars toys collection.

Growing up, Khan knew that he had an exceptional interest in cars. He bought his first car at 19 years old.

“I started saving to buy a car, owning a car was a top priority on my list and I achieved this at the age of 19, it was a Toyota Corolla AE100. That was one of the best moments of my life,” Mr Khan said.

After his first car purchase, the urge grew, here he further built his passion when he secured an employment.

“With a good and stable career, I purchased several vehicles ranging from SUVs to Sports cars, I imported my first sports car in 2014 a Mazda RX8 from Japan on my wife’s demand.

“She is also passionate about cars and supports me in living my dream, Today I own several vehicles including a Toyota Parado (SUV), Ranger, and Subaru STI (Sports Car) and a fleet of vehicles used in my car rental business,” he said.

Being a member of the Syndicate Car Club, he said, was one of the best decisions he made, because of the support system and the shared passion other car owners have.

“I joined the club in early March this year after attending the car show, The team’s dedication and passion towards the car industry motivated me to join the club,” Khan said.

“Joining the club provides a great opportunity as we have a group of like-minded people who share the same ideas, aspirations, and passion.”

“This has also been a good platform for my business as this helps me understand the expectations of car enthusiasts and provide them with the best products in the market,” Mr Khan said.

He disclosed that the club has other plans for the members in the future.
