The national netball team’s campaign of playing in next year’s Netball World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa, starts on Tuesday.

The players were reminded of this during their church service in Suva yesterday.

This was followed by a morn­ing tea with the players and their family members.

Only two teams will qualify for the Netball World Cup which is on July 28 to August 6, 2023.

The Pearls opening match in the Vodafone Netball World Cup Oceania qualifier, starts on Tues­day against Papua New Guinea Pepes at 5.30pm followed by Sa­moa’s clash against Tonga Tala at 7.30pm.

5.30pm Cook Islands v PNG Pepes, 7.30pm Fijian Pearls v Ton­ga Tala

Thursday, July 21,

5.30pm Cook Islands v Samoa, 7.30pm PNG Pepes v Tonga Tala

Friday, July 22,

5.30pm Cook Islands v Tonga Tala, 7.30pm Fijian Pearls v Sa­moa

Saturday, July 23

2pm Samoa v PNG Pepes, 4pm

Fijian Pearls v Cook Islands
