E-Hub Café- Opening soon
The E-Hub is located in the well-known Adams Triangle in the Main Street of Ba Town.
The E-Hub is an innovative cafe with internet access through provided through Wi-Fi on a user pay basis. This Cafe can be a meeting spot for many individuals and also accommodate students for discussions while having a cup of coffee and a sandwich. This Cafe has its own car park and public convenience.
Horse Race Course
The Ba Horse Race Course is located at the Namosau Ward, in the Race Course Street. This course was opened in the year 2015 and since then has hosted many horse race events in which jockeys from different parts of Fiji make their way to participate in the grand events. Horse Race has been a prominent sport in Ba for many years and this facility boosts the interest of many lovers of this sport.
Soccer Ball Restaurant
This Famous Soccer Ball Restaurant is located right in the heart of the town near a roundabout. This huge soccer ball was constructed to mark the success of the Ba Football Team in the local and regional soccer competitions. Currently, a Fast Food restaurant is operating at this location and one can enjoy their meals at an affordable price while paying a visit to our beautiful town.
Rarawai Mill
The sugar industry is the dominant activity in Ba Town and the surrounding Ba District. In the year 1884, construction of Railway began to serve the Sugar Industry and The Fiji Sugar Corporation Mill was established in the year 1866. Ba was then the only town in Fiji through which railway lines ran. The railway tracks through the middle of the town were later removed in the 1960’s.
Ba Civic Museum
The Ba Civic Museum was officially opened on April 11, 2014. The opening corresponded with the celebrations of Ba Town’s 75th Anniversary. The Civic Museum celebrates Ba’s township history. The Civic Museum has highlights of Ba Town’s history and how we have evolved from a few trading shops on the riverbank into a thriving commercial center and the Industrial Capital of Fiji
Ba Market
The Ba Market offers more than 1000 stalls to its multiracial market vendors who come over from different parts of the Ba to sell their goods and items to the public. One can find a range of fresh fruits, vegetables, root crops, either fruits, raw grog, groceries fresh kai and crabs in the Ba Market at a reasonable price.
Govind Park
Ba is also known as the soccer crazy town of Fiji. Soccer brings different religious and ethnic groups of people together during all soccer events. On July 17, 1976, the Govind Park named after one of the former mayors of Ba, Kishore Govind, was opened by one of the former presidents of Fiji Football Association, Manikam Pillay. Ba has since then hosted many soccer and other events to Govind Park and will continue to do so after the renovation works finish at site.
