Solar panels will be installed at all Post Fiji Limited outlets across the country. This was announced by the company’s Chief Executive Officer Anirudha Bansod yesterday.

Mr Bansod said the initiative would address electrical outages issues that they sometimes face. It was also to support the Government’s initiative of reducing carbon footprints.

There are 58 Post Fiji outlets all over the country.

Competition

Mr Bansod said there was a great competition in their EMS sector.

“Our team was providing essential services during the pandemic and we also launched grocery delivery at the time.”

“We have seen an increase in our EMS customers. EMS domestic has grown by 44 per cent and international domestic by 55 per cent.”

Digitisation

Digital transformation is not a luxury but it has to be adopted.

Mr Bansod said there were various technologies available in the market.

He said the main drastic change in the digital industry was that people prefer to have mobile to mobile solutions.

They are looking at developing some applications either on Anroid, OS or Apple to address this need.
