For Sanjay Lal, of Hari Lal Investments, the opening of their new bakery in Kashmir, Lautoka was now a full circle of what they had planned at the start.

His dad, Hari Lal and mum Shakuntla were beaming with pride as the new $50,000 bakery which opened last Friday was the final addition to their grocery shop and liquor outlet.

It was more pleasing that all three businesses were housed under one roof.

He has also hired Ritesh Kumar, a former pastry chef at one of Fiji’s leading resorts and another baker.

“Kashmir is such a big area and with only one bakery here, I decided to open one to cater for the many residents in Kashmir, Rifle Range and Tavakubu.”

“We bake all breads, pastry such as cakes, jam rolls, lamingtons and others such as sausage rolls, meat pies and many others. For orders and enquiries, the shop could be reached on 9926369.”
